The children at Carlyle Infant School are very much encouraged to have their own voice. The School’s Council provides a fun, safe and memorable way to do this.
This year’s elections have already taken place in September, two children from each class were voted to represent their pears. This is a very rigorous process as each pupil must provide a reason for their choice!!
In the past school council have been able to:
- Show visitors around the school.
- Help raise funds through special events/non-uniform days.
- Buy new toys and resources for each class.
- Interview members of staff.
