Hello and welcome to the Parent Teacher Association page! The PTA committee comprises parents and staff and exists to raise funds to use for the children’s benefit, and to organise fun events and activities for the children and their families.
Events run by the PTA this year include a Secret Santa day which enabled children to buy gifts for their parents; a Mothers’ Day Lucky Dip; a cinema evening and a summer fair.
Money is being spent this year on, for example, digital cameras for the school, contributing to a pantomime performance at Christmas, plants for the school garden and a donation to the Red Cross who will be running a first aid day for the children during Health and Fitness Week in June. We have been consulting with the children through the school council about how best to spend funds and hope to continue spending soon!
