Woodland Wednesdays Forest School

Year 2 Forest Schools Class 8 Starting this week-  Wednesday 18th September Class 7 starting next week- Wednesday 25th September We are really excited to be introducing our Forest School programme to your children this week. To ensure your child can fully participate in all the wonderful activities we have planned for them, please can you make sure they have suitable clothing in school on Wednesdays.
  • wellies & 2 pairs of socks
  • long trousers (school are fine)
  • coat that you don’t mind getting dirty
In addition, if your child has waterproofs/all-in-one waterproofs, you are welcome to send them in (these will help protect trousers). Forest School for your child will run every Wednesday, the last session will be Wednesday 11th December. Unfortunately, children who do not have the correct clothing /footwear in school risk not being able to participate. This is for health and safety reasons. Thank you for your assistance, we hope your child really enjoys Forest School.

An extremely important fundraising message…

We have heard from Adam Cattermole’s family, one of our parents and a school Governor that he has been sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer. We are supporting the family and hope that you will too. We are planning more fundraising from the school community but in the meantime, please generously donate here:

Due to the sensitive nature of this, please do not talk about this with your children, as the family’s children know very little about their Daddy being poorly. School will remain a safe and ‘normal’ place for the children. We will do everything we can as a school community to support the Cattermole Family. Thank you in advance of your support.

Many thanks,
Laura
